Use These 4 Pillars To Plan Your Design Career In 2021

Happy new year! and a quick question:

When is the best time to plan your career?

The answer is prob 10 years ago, or right now. Oh, and maybe at the beginning of a new year.

When I planned to change my career to UX a few years ago without local working experience and academic background, I created a strategy with 4 pillars and succeed. Last week when I answered questions from other design boot camp students, I thought, "Well, they might have the same challenge as myself a few years ago, and this strategy might be helpful for them". I shared the strategy with a few students as a prototype (a typical way to test our assumptions) and got heaps of positive feedback. Here's a good example:
