#17 Things changed and things won’t change
Hello, my friend! 👋
A few days back, I bumped into Aaron at a meetup. He was the first UX designer I talked to when I was shifting my career toward product design. Fast forward a few years, and he’s leading a team and doing awesome. Me? I’m working as a designer, and I’m pretty confident in what I’m doing daily. Looking back, it’s wild to see how much has changed. I mean, this was before COVID, so everything about the way we work is totally different now.
There are new tools everywhere. We went from using Sketch to Figma, and no one even talks about InVision anymore. Remote work? That’s just how things are done these days. And product teams are now squaring off against global competitors way more than they used to.
But you know what’s cool? Some things haven’t changed a bit. Doing your best at work is still a must. Innovation? That’s all about noticing the little details and being brave enough to switch things up. And the personal connection? That’s still key, and I don’t see that going away anytime soon. It’s funny how things change, but some things stay the same.
Here’re a few things I’d like to share with you today 🙂
